Netaji Vidyapith Railway H.S School was established in the year of 1948 on 23rd of january in honour of the legendary freedom fighter Netaji Subash Chandra Bose,in Pandu situated at the bank of the mighty Brahmaputra and in the top of the humble Nilachals.However it was translocated to Maligaon,the heart of the city of Guwahati,against the backdrop of nature in 1962.It continues to stay and nurture the students to become the best version of themselves.
This institution is run by the NorthEast Frontier Railway and is affiliated to SEBA.It provides high quality education to students of Nursery classes to that of the 10th standard.It also offers higher secondary education for science and humanaties,under AHSEC curriculam,with a student capacity of about 1400.It has successfully entrenched itself as one of the premier Educational Hub not only of Assam but also of the entier North-Eastern Region.
